Contribute straight from the campaign page with a Solana wallet, or send SOL to the campaign's funding address yourself - either way your contribution counts toward the goal. Contributions are always in SOL.
The campaign page shows live funding progress, the number of contributors, and time remaining. The funding address is public, so you can verify the balance yourself on any Solana block explorer.
If the campaign satisfies its success conditions, the escrowed funds become available for fulfillment of its stated purpose - Vault purchases or arranges the associated service or deliverable. If it does not, eligible refunds are processed automatically according to the protocol's rules.

Tell Vault what you're raising for, your funding goal (in SOL), your deadline, and the project or token the campaign supports. No wallet connection, account, or registration is required to submit.
Most campaigns are all-or-nothing: the full goal must be met by the deadline. Charity campaigns work differently - see below.
A campaign funding address is created automatically on Solana. The goal, deadline, and fee rates are locked at this point and cannot be changed.
Contributors fund the campaign into escrow. Nobody can access those funds mid-campaign - they are held until the outcome is decided.
Success conditions met: the escrowed funds are used to fulfill the campaign's stated purpose, and Vault purchases or arranges the associated service or deliverable. Campaign creators do not simply receive unrestricted control over the escrow balance. Not met: eligible refunds are processed automatically.
Most campaigns are all-or-nothing - they must hit 100% of their goal or everyone gets refunded.
Charity campaigns are different. They release funds once they reach just 20% of their goal. A charity campaign that raises 25% delivers the money - it does not refund contributors. This is intentional: charities benefit from partial funding too.
If you contribute to a charity campaign and it raises 20% or more, you will not receive a refund - the campaign succeeded. Only if it raises less than 20% do contributors get refunded. Read this carefully before contributing to a charity campaign.
